Living in the Folk Music Capital of the World
Mountain View earned the name. Pickers gather around the courthouse square and in Pickin' Park most days from spring through late fall — bring a chair and listen, or bring an instrument and join in. At the park, the dulcimer group holds jam sessions in our Pickin' Shed regularly, and we host a dulcimer week of our own each September.
