FISHING THE WHITE RIVER
Are you interested in exploring the great White River for leisure or competitive fishing? Simply reach out to our office, and we'll link you up with local guides that know the prime hiding spots favored by Arkansas fish. Regardless of the season, there's endless enjoyment in casting a line into the water. Bring along your children, family, and friends to share in the excitement. Introduce them to the joys of fishing—seeing them 'hooked' will surely bring you joy.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
Mountain View offers access to 50 miles of trails starting at Syllamo Trailhead. Loop trails are accessible from four different trailheads: Syllamo (east side of AR 5, 10.2 miles north of Mountain View), White River Bluff (1.3 miles up Green Mountain Road from AR 5), Scrappy Mountain (3.8 miles from AR 5), and Ba Branch Loop (5.8 miles from AR 5). Green Mountain Road, located 0.5 miles north of Jack's Fishing Resort on AR Hwy 5 North, provides access to these trailheads.
MUSIC VENUES
Visitors love coming to Mountain View for its folk and bluegrass music. Head to Washington Street Park at 315 King Street in Downtown Mountain View any evening to enjoy local musicians and visiting talents. Feel free to bring your own instrument and join in the fun. Besides the park, there are many other places to enjoy live music.
Stop by Ozark RV Park for brochures listing performances, times, and locations. Music mostly happens on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, but you'll find someone playing any night—banjos, guitars, dulcimers, dobros, fiddles, and bass guitars.
OZARK FOLK CENTER
The Ozark Folk Center State Park is right next door to the Ozark RV Park and Cabins. Just walk through our shared gate to get to all of the great music, Craft Village (stained glass, ironworks, pottery, knives, candle makers, etc.) Loco Ropes course, and daily/weekly workshops. MOTORCYCLE RIDING ADVENTURES
Arkansas is known for their great motorcycle rides through the Ozarks. There are over 19 distinctive rides each showcasing the beauty of the Arkansas hills and fall colors should you take a ride during this time of year.
Push Mountain (AR 341) has a fantastic riding experience known for it's gorgeous scenery and knee-dragging curves. Beautiful views of the Buffalo River, Norfolk Dam, Blanchard Springs Caverns and of course the Ozark Folk Center right next door to our Ozark RV Park.
We welcome motorcycle groups and have several stay in our RV park every year. For more info call our office and see how YOU can schedule a group event at the Ozark RV Park with your motorcycle club or group.
BEAN FESTIVAL and
Championship OUTHOUSE RACES
What is the Bean Fest? It is a crazy and wild event held every October in Mountain View Arkansas. Thousands of people crowd around the Pinto Bean Cooking contestants who are cooking for the award of the best batch of Pinto Beans cooked. Free samples from each contestant team is given out for judging.
In addition...there are the Outhouse Races. Local business' and individuals compete in wacky costumes and themed outhouses. They hope to win for the fastest outhouse and the best adorned/designed outhouse.
Join us for live music, great food, pinto bean cooking contest with cornbread and all the music, music, music you can handle. Did I say music?
DISC GOLF
Enjoy a fantastic disc golf experience right next to Ozark RV Park & Cabins! The disc golf facility features three 18-hole courses: the Yellow Course with a par 54, perfect for recreational players; the Blue Course, offering a par 59 for a moderate challenge; and the Red Course, boasting a par 64 for those seeking a difficult yet rewarding game. Best of all, it's free to play for all visitors, providing hours of outdoor fun amidst the natural beauty of the Ozarks
PINE HILLS GOLF COURSE

HORSE TRAIL RIDING
