Mountain View offers access to 50 miles of trails starting at Syllamo Trailhead. Loop trails are accessible from four different trailheads: Syllamo (east side of AR 5, 10.2 miles north of Mountain View), White River Bluff (1.3 miles up Green Mountain Road from AR 5), Scrappy Mountain (3.8 miles from AR 5), and Ba Branch Loop (5.8 miles from AR 5). Green Mountain Road, located 0.5 miles north of Jack's Fishing Resort on AR Hwy 5 North, provides access to these trailheads.
Visitors love coming to Mountain View for its folk and bluegrass music. Head to Washington Street Park at 315 King Street in Downtown Mountain View any evening to enjoy local musicians and visiting talents. Feel free to bring your own instrument and join in the fun. Besides the park, there are many other places to enjoy live music.
Stop by Ozark RV Park for brochures listing performances, times, and locations. Music mostly happens on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, but you'll find someone playing any night—banjos, guitars, dulcimers, dobros, fiddles, and bass guitars.
The Ozark Folk Center State Park is right next door to the Ozark RV Park and Cabins. Just walk through our shared gate to get to all of the great music, Craft Village (stained glass, ironworks, pottery, knives, candle makers, etc.) Loco Ropes course, and daily/weekly workshops.
