What is required to reserve a site or cabin?

We require a one-night deposit, or you may pay in full if you prefer.
The balance of your stay will be due and automatically charged to your credit card three days before your arrival.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Reservations cancelled 15 days prior to arrival will receive a total refund, less a $25 cancellation fee.


Reservations cancelled 3-14 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund


Reservations cancelled less than 3 days prior to arrival will be responsible for the cost of their entire stay.


What is your refund/early departure/no show policy?

Refund Policy


  • There will be no refunds after you have checked in, for inclement weather, for choosing to vacate your site early and failure to follow the Rules & Regulations or disorderly conduct. Manager/Owner reserves the right to have discretion on all refunds.

  • No Show Policy


  • All reservations are subject to our no-show policy.
  • A "no-show" is when a guest fails to check-in by 1:00 PM on the day following the scheduled arrival date without prior notification to Mountaineer Campground.
  • No-shows will result in the cancellation of the entire stay with no refund or credit provided.
  • Policies and Pricing are subject to change at any time with no notice.
  • What are your campground rules and regulations?
  • Check-in is 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM
  • All vehicles require a vehicle pass! See the office when you arrive or after you are set up on your site/cain
  • Check-out is 11:00 AM for campsites and 10:00 AM for cabins
  • If site is not vacated by check out time, you will be charged a late check out fee of $25 per hour.
  • Quiet Time is 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
  • The speed limit is 5 m.p.h.
  • RV sites can accommodate 1 RV, 1 vehicle and up to 6 guests. Tents are not allowed on RV sites!
  • Tent/Pop-Up/Van sites can accommodate up to 6 guests and a combination of the following sleeping quarters – 1 tent & 1 vehicle – 2 tents & 1 vehicle. All vehicles require a vehicle pass.
  • Overflow parking must be utilized for extra vehicles.
  • Trash dumpster is located past the office and maintenance shop, close to the dog park.
  • Protective Sewer Connectors are required on all sewer hookups.
  • Do not wash or place your Sewer Hoses or Connections on Picnic tables.
  • Please consult with Management prior to driving posts and/or stakes in the ground.
  • No smoking in any of the buildings. If evidence of smoking, such as smell or damage is found inside a cabin, you will be charged a $200 fine.
  • Do not move fire rings without permission from Management.
  • Do not burn trash or leave trash in fire rings.
  • Do not place cigarette butts on the ground or in fire rings.
  • No riding bikes, skateboards, or other non-motorized vehicles after dark.
  • Patrons are responsible for the conduct of their children, guests, and pets.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult after dark.
  • Pets are not to be left unattended outside, please control your dog’s barking.
  • Pickup pet waste immediately.
  • No dumping of grey or black water on the ground.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time for a reasonable cause without refund.
  • What are your Terms of Service?

    By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Ozark RV Park for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ozark RV Park from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that Ozark RV Park may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guests further agree to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. Ozark RV Park reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.


    Pet Policy: We are a pet-friendly resort, but pets must be walked on a short leash, cleaned up after and may not disturb other guests. Pets are the responsibility of the owner. Management reserves the right to restrict disruptive or aggressive breeds. Pets are not allowed in any buildings.


    Damage to Campsites: As a guest, you are responsible for leaving the campsite in the condition it was in when you arrived. You acknowledge and agree that, as a guest, you are responsible for your own acts and omissions and are also responsible for the acts and omissions of any individuals whom you invite to, or otherwise provide access to, the campsite. In the event that Ozark RV Park claims otherwise and provides evidence of damage, including but not limited to photographs, you agree to pay the cost of replacing the damaged items with equivalent items. After being notified of the claim and given forty-eight (48) hours to respond, the payment will be charged to and taken from the credit card on file.


    Ozark RV Park also reserves the right to charge the credit card on file, or otherwise collect payment from you and pursue any avenues available to Ozark RV Park in this regard, including using Security Deposits, in situations in which you have been determined, in Ozark RV Parks sole discretion, to have damaged any campsite. If we are unable to charge the credit card on file or otherwise collect payment from you, you agree to remit payment for any damage to the campsite to Ozark RV Park.


    All disputes arising from these terms and conditions, or the guests’ use and occupancy of the campsite shall be subject to the laws of the State of Arkansas, and the exclusive jurisdiction of the state courts of Stone County, Arkansas.



    Do you charge an extra person fee?

    Yes, each additional person greater than 4 is charged $5.

    What forms of payment do you accept?

    We accept all major credit cards and cash

    What can your Pick’n Shed Community Center be used for?
  • Music community events on an ongoing basis
  • Potluck gatherings for campers when music festivals are being held
  • Rented for local community parties/weddings/receptions, inquire with management for fees and costs
  • What is your pet policy?

    All pets must be disclosed prior to check in. Pets will need to be registered with the office upon arrival. Pets will be allowed provided that the pet owner agrees to the following conditions:


  • The pet must be in a kennel when alone.
  • The pet is trained, flea free, not prone to shedding, and not prone to damaging property.
  • Pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds, unless a protective cover is used provided by guests. There is an extra pet cleaning fee if evidence of excessive pet hair is found.
  • The cost to repair any damage done by a guest's pet, such as chewing furniture or staining carpet (pet urine), will be deducted from the security deposit. The guest will also be charged for carpet cleaning, odor removal, and any necessary repairs.
  • Waste removal – guests must pick up after their pet.
  • All pets must be under the complete control of a responsible guest and must always be on a hand-held leash since the yard is not fenced.
  • We do not limit pet size or breed; however, aggressive or unruly dogs are not welcome. If we receive one or more complaints regarding barking, aggressive behavior, or property damage, the guest will be required to leave with no refunds.
